DIXIE HUSTLER
To sum up this band in a whole, I'd have to start out with one word..."honest". The whole idea for this band came up about 6 or 7 years ago. Eric Allen and Myself were getting back into old classic rock and country around the same time. He would turn me back on to the old albums his dad had, i'd turn him on to shit my dad had. Around this same time we were also getting back into the shit our grandpas listened too. The soul of music was being heard all over again. This was at a time where music on the radio was as fake as a disney flick. Alot of the songs were just flat out depressing to listen too and out right un-inspired. At least that was my take on it. No offense to those who poured their hearts out to a repetitive song in drop d and all, but damn, speak from the heart and don't cut the cookie son.We were both really wanting to rekindle the truth in rock music.
